Our Inspiration Behind Bark Bowtique Bows
Bark Bowtique was born out of a deep love for our furry family members and a desire to bring a touch of charm to every dog's life. It all started with our two beloved pups, Maggie, a bichon poodle, and Athena, a rottweiler. While Maggie enjoyed a plethora of adorable hair accessories, we noticed Athena, with her short hair, couldn’t experience the same joy without discomfort.

Determined to create something special for Athena and all short-haired dogs, we embarked on a journey of designing headbands that are both stylish and comfortable. After months of trial and error, we crafted adjustable elastic headbands that don’t pull on fur, ensuring every dog can look and feel fabulous.

Each bow is handmade with love in our little shop in Texas, combining quality craftsmanship with playful and elegant designs. Bark Bowtique bows are not just accessories; they are expressions of love and care, inspired by our own furry companions. We hope our creations bring as much joy to your pets as they have to ours.
Selection and Sewing
After carefully selecting the fabric, each bow is meticulously measured, cut, sewn, and turned inside out.
Iron, Shape, & Stitch
The bows are then ironed to remove any wrinkles and are individually hand-sewn before being attached to an elastic band.
Headband Creation
The comfortable elastic band is carefully measured and cut, with the ends lightly heated to prevent unraveling. Adjustable connectors are then added, preparing the bands for bow attachment. Depending on the fabric, the bows are either sewn, glued, or both to ensure a secure fit.
QC and Shipping
The final and most delightful step is our quality control process. Athena and Maggie joyfully test each bow to ensure they meet our high standards before every shipment.
